Balustrades Designed for Strength, Safety, and Visual Impact
UNEX’s Extreme Range X1500 balustrade system is specifically engineered for demanding applications, including multi-unit residential and commercial buildings where safety and compliance are critical. For Haven Road Apartments, two different balustrade configurations were installed to meet varying occupancy and usage conditions:
- External residential balconies feature 1.0m high (from the finished deck level) framed glass balustrades, designed to Occupancy Type A (Other – residential use).
- External breezeway walkways use a 1.1m high (from the finished deck level) framed baluster design with 19x19mm aluminium vertical infills, engineered for Occupancy Type C3 (areas not susceptible to overcrowding) such as public corridors.
Both designs were face-fixed using DKG2 Gutter Brackets, offering a clean finish and strong structural connection - all supported by multiple site-specific PS1s prepared through the UNEX Engineering Team.

Expertly Installed
Glass and Window Solutions brought their expertise to the table, managing the installation across multiple levels and variations — ensuring each balustrade section aligned with both design intent and regulatory requirements.
Their attention to detail and local knowledge helped deliver a clean, consistent finish throughout the development, enhancing the project’s professional appearance and long-term durability.
