Completed in 2018, The Citizen was a property developed by the urbancollective in Newton, Auckland. This building was not only unique in the architecture used to extend and expand on top of an existing office building but also selective in the materials and fixtures used aiming at discerning clientele. By expanding out to one side and extending to the rear of the property lot, an atrium space was created whereby each level of apartments surrounded this opening. And this is where UNEX's Finline balustrade style was used extensively to meet the demands of creating a space with distinctive points of difference.Read more "The Citizen"

Verto Apartments was completed in 2018 and was the recipient of the NZIA's 2017 Auckland Architecture Awards Winner for the innovation of its 60 one and two-bedroom apartments, but also for the clever use of a "utilitarian building element in an engaging facade treatment" which UNEX's Ascot Framed Baluster style balustrades were a part.
This is the second time UNEX was used by renowned architects Warren & Mahoney and was a joint venture between Todd Property Group and Fletcher Residential. Being one of three developments UNEX has completed with Todd Property Group, including the ilico & Bellus Apartments, it is apparent the Todd Property group trusts UNEX to deliver high-quality results for budget-conscious builds.

Located 8km north of Auckland, this is Stonefields’ third apartment building to be constructed. ilico is a multi-storey residential block comprised of 65 one and two-bedroom apartments which feature UNEX's Ascot Framed Baluster style balustrades with side panel screens of Finline, UNEX's Postless Balustrade.
ilico was designed by renowned architects Warren & Mahoney and was a joint venture between Todd Property Group and Fletcher Residential. Being the third development UNEX has completed with Todd Property Group, including the Verto & Bellus Apartments, the trust to deliver which Todd Property group has in UNEX is apparent.
These units were all sold off the plans within ten months, prior to completion of construction. UNEX provided all the material and installation on time to meet the requirements of this build and keep its 100% delivery rate.
This mid-century apartment building has some of the most enviable views in all of Wellington. Just off Oriental Parade, the units in this complex have an unobstructed panoramic view back to the city. Therefore, when this 1960s refurbishment took place in 2017, UNEX's Avon Style balustrades were the best choice of security for the new residents while still capturing the vista.
